1° day Cecina- Baratti – Buca delle Fate – Bolgheri – Cecina 87km
In the morning Hotel accommodation *** and departure to Baratti.
Excursion to BARATTI, a piece of paradise on earth reachable by a shady path in a forest of oaks where you will find here and there the remains of some Etruscan tombs.
Gradually thinning, the forest gives way to a typical Mediterranean landscape which leads to a rocky beach with blue crystal waters, an ideal environment for fish and marine plants.
A free morning to relax and bathe in the crystal clear sea.
1PM Lunch in a typical restaurant with traditional Tuscan dishes.
In the afternoon a guided visit to a winery in Bolgheri which over the years has preserved the ancient tradition of cultivating and producing high quality wines and oil.
The owner will show us his vineyards, his winery with a detailed explanation of wine-making methods. At the end a tasting of wines and olive oil.
Free time in the picturesque medieval village of Bolgheri will follow.
We will drive along the famous cypress avenue immortalized by the famous verses of Carducci in his poem “In front of San Guido”. So, it’s a must to visit the Oratory of San Guido located on the Via Aurelia in front of the homonymous avenue. This is a small oval church commissioned in 1793 by Count Bolgheri Simone Maria, which had the dual purpose of serving as a place of worship for the travellers of the Via Regia and allow the celebration of Mass during harvest. You will then enter the village itself, which was rebuilt in the first half of the '500. The village was an ancient feud of the family of the Gherardesca, who built the castle on the hilltop.
Time for shopping.

2° day Cecina–Livorno-Capraia Island-Livorno-Cecina
Departure from Cecina for Livorno Harbour by ferry.
Arrival in Capraia after about 2 hours of navigation. Opportunity to visit the island on your own or to book guided tours directly while sailing (extra).
The island of Capraia is the third largest island of the Tuscan Archipelago and was formed after an ancient volcanic eruption almost 10 million years ago. We can still see the “mouth” of the vulcan at Cala Rossa. Capraia has a small harbour, a small village around the fortress from the 16th century, which was built by the republic of Genova and breathtaking volcanic rocks, wild nature and typical Mediterranean fragrances. The island can be visited on foot or by renting small boats on site to discover the wildest and most hidden places, such as Cala of Mortola whose beach of sand and pebbles is covered by the waters of the sea when the Grecale wind blows and uncovered again when the Libeccio blows. Capraia has no streets but paths sorrounded by wildlife. In Cala Zurletto, according to the season, you will find different flowers and animals such as rabbit or gulls.
The northern area of the island has the ex-prison, the towers to defend from the pirates, the fortress, the churches and coloured houses.

At 5pm meeting at the marina and departure to Livorno-Cecina.

3° day Cecina - Terme di Sassetta - Cecina (70km)
Breakfast – Check- out and departure to Terme di Sassetta, for a relaxing day at the thermal baths.
The thermal water of Sassetta, rich in sulphates, calcium, and precious minerals, arises naturally from the earth at a temperature of 50 °C. Its beneficial effects are a blessing for the respiratory system, musculoskeletal system and the skin.
Surrounded by woods of ancient chestnut and majestic oak trees, the spa is inspired by the Etruscan and Roman architecture of the ancient baths. The water flows from the falls of the central column and the exterior walls. At your disposal are: the Frigidarium external pool (22-24 °C), the Tepidarium external pool (28-32 °C) and the internal hyperthermal pool, the Calidarium ( 38-40°C)
1PM In-house lunch vegetarian with "Wellness Menu" consisting of appetizer, first course, dessert and water.
After lunch, before re-dive, you can stand in the sun and enjoy a herbal tea or book (extra) beauty treatments at the SPA.
Return to Cecina in the late afternoon. END OF TOUR
