Pick up from the hotel by elegant and comfortable car/van, driving along the Amalfi Coast you will be impressed by the beautiful panoramas discovering over your eyes: Amalfi, Atrani, Maiori, Cetara, Vietri, the small beaches, the high mountains collapsing into the sea and the Maiolica - tiled cupolas. (For Sorrento departure: travel via Castellammare to Pompeii, without Amalfi Coast drive). Upon arrival in Pompeii meet your expert local guide and start a fascinating journey back in the Roman period. Visit some of the highlights of Pompeii excavation, including the forum, the thermal baths, the ancient houses and shops, after two hours visit drive to Boscoreale. The beautiful azienda we have selected for the wine tasting lies just down the Vesuvius, offering breath-taking views over the Volcano and the surroundings till the sea. Introduction to the Volcanic wines, the story of the wine cellar and the legends about Lacryma Christy. Visit of the wine yards and lecture about grapes growing methods. After the visit stop at the casolare for wine tasting and country lunch cooked with local specialties. The menu will include appetizer, pasta dish, second course, home made dessert. Each dish will be accompanied by the right wine (two white wines, one red wine, one passito). During the afternoon there is time to visit the volcano and have a easy hiking up to the crater (the hiking will take approx. 1 hour). Alternatively drive back to your hotel.
