Lesina and the Lagoon

Between lake and sea

A charming salt lake more than 20 km long, separated from the Adriatic Sea by a sandy and wooded strip known as Bosco Isola.

Lesina lagoon is an integral part of the Gargano National Park and it is considered a biotope of particular naturalistic value, suitable for the resting and refuge of numerous species of migratory birds that nest here, favouring activities such as birdwatching.
