L'Hotel Nazionale rappresenta uno degli edifici più antichi di Levanto, esso risale infatti al 1600, quando venne adibito a monastero.
Dopo le leggi napoleoniche del 1800, il monastero venne sconsacrato e solo con l'inizio del 1900 venne acquisito da un antica famiglia levantese che lo trasformò in albergo, diventando un vero punto di riferimento della zona.

Hotel Nazionale is one of the oldest building in Levanto.
Born as a monastery at the beginning of the XVII century, it was deconsecrated because of Napoleonic Laws during the XIX century.
Some statues and altars can be still found in some churches in Levanto.
The building was transformed into a hotel by a local family during the first years of the XX century and became a real landmark of the area.
