This project has been launched by the consortia promoting tourism along the Venetian coast (Bibione, Caorle, Eraclea, Jesolo, Cavallino Treporti, Chioggia, Lido di Venezia), as they wanted to join forces to show visitors everything that this 150 km-long, unique stretch of coastline has to offer.  Venice Sands therefore represents all of the seaside tourist resorts in the Veneto region, Italy’s top destination in terms of visitor numbers. In fact, the Venetian Riviera is all about top-quality services, as demonstrated by the fact that, year after year, all seaside resorts in this region are awarded the prestigious Blue Flag by the FEE, certifying the quality of their bathing water and tourist services. Following the Covid -19 emergency, Venice Sands has also created the Venice Sands app for tourists visiting the area, guaranteeing and providing information on the high standards of safety and reliability of Veneto’s resorts. This app is an incredibly useful tool, designed to allow users to check the health guidelines in force along the beach, book their parasols and sunbeds and get all the information they may need, in real time, to be able to safely enjoy their holiday with complete peace of mind; for example, it is possible to check the rules for a given area, assess social distancing and read applicable safety precautions as well as checking the weather forecast. Venice Sands also has much more to offer.
