Avete mai visto milioni di lucciole tutte insieme? provate a visitare Kuala Selangor, un villaggio costiero a nord-ovest di Kuala Lumpur, famoso per l'incredibile spettacolo naturale delle lucciole (Kelip-Kelip in Bahasa), visibile dalla sera alla notte lungo il fiume Selangor che scorre attraverso la città. Queste luminose creature si adagiano solo su un tipo di mangrovie chiamato berembang e rappresentano una delle più grandi colonie di lucciole del mondo. Può capitare che il loro lampeggiare intermittente si sincronizzi, creando uno scenario da favola fatto di luci scintillanti simile a un albero di Natale. Delle barche elettriche che vi accompagneranno nell’ escursione sono completamente silenziose e funzionano a batteria, che quindi non inquina l'ambiente in questo santuario delle lucciole. MILLION OF FIREFLIES!
Have you ever seen millions of fireflies all together? try to visit Kuala Selangor, a coastal village northwest of Kuala Lumpur, famous for the incredible natural firefly show (Kelip-Kelip in Bahasa), visible from evening to night along the Selangor River that flows through the city. These bright creatures only settle on a type of mangrove called berembang and represent one of the largest firefly colonies in the world. It may happen that their intermittent flashing synchronizes, creating a fairytale scenario made of twinkling lights similar to a Christmas tree.
