Description

This excursion can be carried out in two different shifts starting in the morning at 10:00 or in the afternoon at 15:30 (the timetable may vary according to the seasons).

Meeting with our staff at the parking of the archaeological park of Segesta, about 15 minutes from Castellammare del Golfo. Small initial briefing and departure for an immersion in nature lasting about 3 hours and 15 minutes in the Segesta countryside.

During the excursion we will cross the territory of the Monte Pisisa wood from where it is possible to admire the majestic Temple of Segesta with a splendid panoramic view.

We will cross vineyards and orchards where we will stop for a tasting of seasonal fruit and for a relaxing bath in a pool of sulphurous water. We will have the opportunity to stop at a company where we will taste Pane Cunzato, typical Sicilian sweets and drinks.

During the various stops our driver will talk to us about the area and will explain its characteristics.

This splendid excursion is carried out on a route of about 45 km, of which 60% on dirt road and 40% on asphalt.

It is suitable for participants of any age.
