"Alba from the Argimusco Plateau" is a beautiful 2-day mini tour close to the Spring and Autumn Equinoxes. We will take you to the discovery of the medieval village of Montalbano Elicona dell'Altopiano, the wonderful naturalistic site of the Argimusco Plateau at 1,200 meters above sea level in the middle lands between the Peloritani and Nebrodi mountains and in the magical Malabotta Forest in the Orientata Reserve of the same name. We avail ourselves of the collaboration of the astrophysicist Andrea Orlando, President of Sicilian Archaeoastronomy, of the Photographer and nature guide Emilio Messina and of the environmental guide and publicist Francesca Bisbano.

We will reach a particular point where we will be stationed to observe the rising of our star which we will slowly see appear to the east near Rocca Salvatesta, one of the highest points of the Peloritani mountains. It will be an exciting moment in which we will see the succession of a kaleidoscope of colors that from the sky to the earth will alternate from orange to yellow, from blue to light blue, from pink to white, magically illuminating the beautiful Rocche dell'Argimusco in a particular context. giving a unique and unforgettable emotion.

When the sun is high enough we will begin our visit of the plateau and our guides will take turns in the description that will go from archeo-astronomy to the history and beauty of the landscape. Along the way, our guide will introduce us to the many varieties of flora that we will encounter.

We will go back until we reach an equipped area where our staff will be waiting for us and will invite us to have lunch tasting the typical local products, from salami to provola, from bread to olives, all accompanied by a good wine.
