A five-day walk and ride exploring Palermo and surroundings. A special 2021 New Year’s Day, cycling between sicilian puppets (“pupi”) and cannoli discovering natural landscapes and gourmet delicacies of this ancient city and its wonderful buildings, a unique blend of cultures and arts which made their mark: byzantine, arab, norman, reinassance, and baroque. In group, led by a guide, you will ride firstly until Monreale and Palermo’s old town; the second day you will discover the norman coast and Bagheria; the third day you will reach Mondello, where the bravest among you can enjoy a winter swim, the village of Sferracavallo and “Capo Gallo” natural reserve.

Cancellation policy:

• from 28 to 14 days before the start of the tour, 50% of total paid amount
• from 13 to 5 days before the start of the tour, 70% of total paid amount
• from 4 days before the start of the tour or no show, 100% of total paid amount

Additional information:

Comfortable winter footwear and sportswear are recommended (as well as waterproof coat, trousers, and shoe covers) and bring an helmet and a flask with you.  Group tour, departure date to be confirmed (min. 10 participants), for people with sufficient entry-level athletic training, even amateurs, who cycle regularly. Otherwise, e-bike rental is suggested. For organizational, climatic, safety or legal reasons beyond uour control, the plan could be modified before and/or during your holiday.
