During this journey, you will change locations almost every day, mostly housed in small structures immersed in the green countryside of the Marches, where meeting with the managers is part of the journey and it will enrich you with unique and unforgettable stories!

PLAN

DAY 1 - Saturday

Arrival in Fabriano during the day. Get inspired by our tips for self-guided visits to the city. You will have an appointment with Marco, your guide, for a welcome apericena meeting the other members of the group while immersing yourself in a tasting that will be the first contact with flavors and smells of the region. You will find them again along the journey, right there, in the lands where they come from!

Overnight in a b&b in the historic center.

DAY 2 - Sunday

Fabriano, the city of paper. After breakfast at the facility, you will meet the Master Papermaker in his workshop in the historic center. With him you will take on producing sheets of paper with your hands following the ancient tradition!

Packed lunch and preparation of bicycles.

The first leg will lead you to Genga where you may do some optional activities including: relaxation in the structure, excursion and bath in the river, visit to the famous Frasassi caves, visit to the temple of Valadier, baths in the baths of San Vittore 

Dinner included.

Itinerary by bike about 15 km on dirt roads that are partly paved and with a little traffic

DAY 3 - Monday

The morning will begin with a great breakfast, exactly what you need to face the first real leg of this bike trip!

From Genga you will leave for Monte Murano which from the height of its 830 meters will give you breathtaking views over the whole Vallesina.

Andrea, a passionate beekeeper, is waiting for you for lunch.

The welcome to Andrea's home is immediately sweet! A lunch/tasting based on farm products awaits you.

You will discover and taste the honeys in many and delicious combinations proposed for you by professionals!

Soon it will be time to immerse yourself in the world of bees! Once you put on your beekeeper's clothes, you will go to the apiary listening to Andrea talking about the functioning of the world of bees and its incredible and orderly complexity! You will be a beekeeper for one day and you will handle the tools of the trade discovering all the products of the hive, in particular the royal jelly that you will pick up and take to the laboratory for the extraction.

The bravest ones (you will understand why) will be able to insert the new "sticks" to put in the apiary!

At the end of this exciting experience we will leave for Montecarotto, home of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, one of the most important Italian white wines!

DAY 4 - Tuesday

In the morning you will get back in the saddle ride on the rolling hills of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi! A special white wine for its longevity and the skill to improve over time.

Packed lunch.

You will arrive in San Marcello, a small village on the hills overlooking the city of Jesi.

Here you will meet Giorgio who will take you on a walk through his olive grove, telling you the story of his company and the varieties of olive trees he cultivates.

You will get to know and learn how to recognize them by observing and touching the differences with your hand!

After the walk you will move to the laboratory.

Here you will dedicate yourself to the professional tasting of the monovarietal oils produced on the farm.

You will improve your sense of smell and taste and you will discover all the peculiarities and the unique and distinctive characteristics of the oils obtained from different varieties: a real world of aromas, flavors and sensations to be discovered!

Giorgio will guide you in the tasting by showing you the techniques and transferring you the secrets of this art: a real mini course of professional tasting of extra virgin olive oils!

After the oils, it will be time to taste the other company products made with the company's extra virgin olive oil combined with other ingredients. We don't want to reveal anything to you, the surprise is worth waiting for!

And a real treat to conclude: an olive leaf herbal tea!

Just one kilometer from there you will reach another place of rare beauty ...

A place where Massimo and Pascale have been dedicating themselves for some years to sustainable, biodynamic and biotic viticulture and to hospitality in their small farmhouse/tavern.

It begins with a walk in the vineyards where you learn about the territory, the history of the company's vines and the principles of sustainable viticulture adopted in the company.

A wine in amphora is produced here according to an ancient technique already in use by the Picenians over 2.000 years ago!

During the brief company tour you will discover these buried amphorae.

In the cellar we will talk about the equipment used and the methods of vinification without added yeast, following the philosophy of spontaneous fermentation, and vinification in amphora.

Massimo and Pascale also bring to the table their identity by serving the fruit of their work in addition to the glass. The dishes of the tavern use grapes, reductions and grape jellies that they grow and are prepared with ingredients that reflect the cycle of nature. A culinary research that combines tradition, authenticity and seasonality. In one word: Territory!

Then it will be time to taste and you will do it through a tasting menu in which each wine is paired with a dish from the tavern.

DAY 5 - Wednesday

Back in the saddle! We will cross the Esino river and walk the few kilometers that will bring us closer to the sea!

You will get to Offagna, a village of the Conero that stands out with its majestic medieval fortress that stands on a tuff cliff.

You will be guests of a charming b&b right in the historic center!

Here you can spend your free time visiting one of the 3 very special museums in the area or dedicate yourself to the discovery of essential oils with Sara not far from the historic center in her specialized company, but first you take your room and have a refreshing shower!

You can have dinner in one of the town's restaurants.

Bike itinerary about 30 km on both dirt and asphalted roads with a little traffic.

DAY 6 - Thursday

The last stop before the Conero sea! You will reach the seaside village of Sirolo, on the slopes of Monte Conero where a well-deserved lunch awaits you and you will take possession of your rooms.

In the early afternoon we will go to Ancona with a transfer service.

This time you will get on an electric scooter and set off with Maria (your guide) to discover the city.

With anecdotes and stories about the history of Ancona, you will have the opportunity to get to know this city and its glorious history as a Maritime Republic from an original point of view!

Along the way you will make a stop at the civic art gallery where you will create the Titian Red color with Sara, following the original recipe of the Master!

Here Titian red will meet the Fabriano filigree, sealing the conclusion of this wonderful experience.

In fact, you will be called to express your emotions related to the trip by painting your sheet of paper that you produced in Fabriano with Titian red.

To end the day, the Doric county seat will offer you a panoramic apericena at sunset in front of the ancient lighthouse!

At the end transfer to the accommodation in Sirolo and overnight stay.

DAY 7 - Friday

Free day on the Conero.

On this day you can relax, go on excursions and to the sea!

We can give you advices to fully enjoy this day even with visits and activities to be carried out independently!

You will have your e-bikes available.

Among the optional activities we offer there are:

- kayak excursion to reach the beach of the Due Sorelle  (Two Sisters) by sea

- e-bike excursion on Mount Conero

- horseback riding on the Conero

Lunch and dinner wherever you want.

DAY 8 - Saturday

This incredible journey ends today, you can decide to extend your beach holiday or we will take care of your transfer to the nearest station or airport or to the point of departure (Fabriano).
