E-BIKE project promotes the naturalistic-environmental peculiarities of the territory of the Alps through the development of sustainable cycle tourism

E-BIKE is an Interreg ITA-CH project that aims to create an international alpine cycle path equipped for pedal assisted bikes, which, starting from Forte di Bard in Aosta Valley, rejoins the Stuttgart - Venice cycle path in the province of Bolzano, crossing the territories of PiedmontLombardyCanton Ticino and Canton of Grisons. The project aims to aggregate, within a cluster of companies, all entrepreneurial entities in the area that offer services related to bike and e-bike tourism, through promotion and sale activities. One of the aims of the project is to ensure the conservation, promotion and development of the natural and cultural heritage  and to aggregate the tourist offer of the area, in order to increase the presence of sports tourists. Moreover, it wants to promote outdoor sports by widening the range of users who normally do not approach the muscle cycling, thanks to the use of pedal assistance. It wants to guarantee, for each route, the possibility of recharging, at mountain huts, bike hostels, bike grills or columns distributed throughout the area. Finally, E-BIKE aims to train professional guides for the support of the cyclist and for an in-depth knowledge of the area to guarantee user support, assistance but also a conscious experience. To find out more, check out Facebook and Instagram
