Particular landscapes and a spectacular complexity of surroundings render the Pollino National Park the largest and the wildest natural park in Italy, in 2015 it became a UNESCO heritage site. With its large unspoilt areas that vary at different altitudes, the park is able to offer visitors a wide variety of natural environments.
The Aspromonte National Park is characterized by a very jagged territory, from the Tyrrhenian to the Ionian Sea it offers a wide variety of plant species, generating a wide biodiversity, thanks to the favourable climatic conditions.
Between the Aspromonte and the Sila is the Regional Park of the Serre, a protected natural area. The Park is crossed by two long mountain ranges, large forests and waterways with high waterfalls.
