A day dedicated to discovering the history and traditions of the city of salt.
DAILY EXCURSION WITH ACCOMPANIMENT
We will start the day with a guided tour that will tell us the history of Cervia, of its strong link with the sea and the Etruscan salt pans to which it owes the name of 'White Gold City.
We will visit Piazza Garibaldi, in the heart of Cervia and paved with river pebbles, the historical monuments: the cathedral with its spire bell tower, the imposing Palazzo del Municipio, built in the 18th century, the Tower of San Michele built at the end of the 17th century ', for the defense of the port and the precious salt warehouse up to the MUSA, the salt museum which today houses an important collection of artifacts, documents, equipment and historical photos that testify to the memory of the salt works in Cervia.
At the end of the visit we will be hosted in one of the artisan workshops, where we could experience the art of Piadina, the creation of the typical Romagnole prints or the processing of ceramics, taking home a souvenir of this experience.
