Today is Roman Christmas also known as Dies Romana! According to legend Rome was founded on the 21st of April 754BC by Romolo. Story goes, two brothers, Romolo and Remo, were twins born from Marte, God of war, and a human girl, from Royal descent. Upon birth the brothers’ uncle, king of a nearby city, ordered for them to be killed. The twins were abandoned as babies to wilderness and wolf adopted them out of pity. After becoming men the two brothers took revenge on their uncle and went on building their own city together. During this time after a fight between brothers Romolo killed his brother becoming then the first king of Rome.
