Through bicycle tours it will be possible to discover the places of the Casentino where Dante Alighieri is said to have composed the Paradise of the Divine Comedy and the places of the "sacred forest" so called as places of spirituality linked to the life of St. Francis. Our proposal is completed by a visit to Arezzo with its works of art, Stia with its museum of the art of wool, which testifies to the importance of the famous "Casentino cloth" fabric used today by fashion houses the most famous (some fabrics destined for the English monarchy) and Romanian where there are both the remains of the ancient castle and the Romanesque-style Pieve now a national monument.

When (low season) Program :

Day 1) Visit of Arezzo among the beauties of the historic center such as the Duomo, the Church of San Domenico, the Basilica of San Francesco, Piazza Grande, the Roman Amphitheater, the Pieve di Santa Maria and the artisan shops as well as the numerous antique shops . Upon returning we offer a tasting in the cellar.

Day 2) Departure by ebike through routes designed to visit Dante's places where the divine poet took refuge after his exile from Florence and places of faith linked to San Francesco such as the "sacred forest" and the Sanctuary of La Verna, a place where the poor Assisi received the stigmata. The background is pristine landscapes, a beautiful flora and fauna of the Casentinesi Forest Park.

Day 3) Visit of Stia and the museum of the art of wool with ancient machinery used for the weaving of the famous Casentino cloth and visit of a textile company where it is possible to purchase clothing made from said fabric. Continue to Romena visit the Castle (ruins) and the famous Romanesque Pieve, beautiful and mystical place at the same time. We also suggest a stop in Poppi, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, and a visit to the perfectly preserved castle of the Counts Guidi, formerly the refuge of the great poet.
