Our mascot Gerry will take us to visit the Basilica that houses the mortal remains of St. Bernardine of Siena, the second most important Franciscan after St. Francis. He will make us discover an altarpiece made by Andrea della Robbia, he will show us the works of Silvestro da L'Aquila and the magnificent facade made by Cola dell'Amatrice who was inspired by a project never realized by Michelangelo Buonarroti for the Basilica of San Lorenzo in Florence. After seeing this masterpiece of Abruzzo art Gerry will accompany us to Via Fortebraccio and its wonderful buildings.
