An horseback tour along the Cavendish Road, the place where Europe was released from the Nazism and Fascism.

A journey in horseback through the territory of the Natural Monument of Montecassino, until we reach the beautiful Abbey.

THIS TRIP INCLUDES
The Cavendish Road is a mountain path extending from the little town of Caira to the Montecassino Abbey. During the II World War, this path was used as a supply road for the soldiers, going from a narrow trail to a real transport route. Between thing, here the II Polish Corps planned the victorious final battle against the Germans on the hill of Montecassino and the Gustav Line breakthrough.

During the path you’ll cross the beautiful Natural Monument of Montecassino, an area extending for 694 hectares which includes the namesake mountain belonging to the chain of Mainarde. A huge wooded area where one has the impression to relive the disruptive history that took place here in the past.
