An experiential journey through vineyards and Arbëreshë traditions.
This proposal is just one of the different tourist opportunities of the Foundation’s Network of Companies belonging to the hospitality, agri-food, cultural and artisanal chain of Molise.
In Italy, wine is now considered a pretext to live more and more unique experiences in fascinating places. A flywheel that pushes people and all Wine lovers to travel to discover new territories, wineries, vineyards. We often talk about wine tourism and how fundamental it is in the strategic management of a winery: but what exactly is wine tourism and why we care so much?
wine tourism means putting wine and its production first. It is a personal experience of exploration and discovery, as well as tasting; the wine is an opportunity to let the tourist into contact with a territory, leading him to discover the history and the most genuine origins of wine beyond the simple tasting of product
Wine tourism is also combined with the visit of places and territories of production, the knowledge of culture, traditions and people who live here, with its history and its centuries-old traditions.
Although the discovery and tasting of local wine production remains central, it is no longer the only element sought in the journey. The cultural value of wine, represented by a unique mix between product, territory and people, fascinates and attracts more and more. The cultural dimension is also added to that of well-being, thanks to the amenities of the places and the healthy dimension that wine and, in general, food are increasingly taking.
Sustainability is today a driver of travel. Here, also in the wine tourism trip, there is a strong desire to participate in sustainable experiences, which are combined both for a green approach and for being socially responsible.
A strong desire to live and experience the cellar through new, more engaging, and that allow a personal enrichment.
Our farm
MOLISE WINE EXCELLENCE
CANTINE SALVATORE is located in URURI , a small village on the lush hills of Lower Molise bordered between the Centurelle-Montesecco "tratturo" and the Ururi - Serracapriola "tratturello"
The "tratturo" is a wide grassy path, stony or in beaten earth, always with a natural background, originated from the passage and trampling of the herds. Usually the measure of the width of the road is 111 meters corresponding to sixty Neapolitan steps.
Its route marks the main route of the complex reticular system of the paths that wind and branch off into smaller paths consisting of tracks, suspenders that linked the main tracks, arms and rest. These paths were used by shepherds to carry out transhumance or to transfer flocks and flocks from one pasture to another.
In Italy the interweaving of these roads, estimated at 3,100 km, is found in the territories of the central-southern regions. The "Regi Tratturi" are a precious testimony of paths formed in proto-historical era in relation to forms of economic production and consequent social structure based on sheep farming, continued over time and relaunched from the Norman-Swabian era, and then Angevin and Aragonese, so as to represent a fragment of history preserved almost intact for at least seven centuries and gradually reddened by further historical stratifications, so as to make them the most impressive monument of the economic and social history of the territories of the Abruzzo-Molise Apennines.
In this area we cultivate with passion because a great wine can be born only in a great vineyard. In our vineyards and in our cellars every work is done with the passion and attention that only manual skills can give. With hard commitment and assiduous consistency we produce grapes and wines that express all the potential of our territory.
And when passion prevails over work, man’s work becomes an art....
THE PROPOSED BIT TOUR IS THREE DAYS
First day:
Guided tour in the vineyards walking the vineyards on foot or by E-bike (surcharge for rental)
Everyone will feel part of our family!
Accommodation in a residential structure in the Marina di Chieuti with free dinner.
Second day
Vineyards and Olive Groves Tour with Tasting
The Tour includes walks through the vineyards with the explanation of agronomic techniques. Everything is taken care of according to the principles of organic farming and environmental sustainability, a sweet and natural method that exploits the fertility of the soil, rich in minerals, maintaining the structure and respecting the natural cycles of development.
During the next visit to the winery you will discover the winemaking techniques, the company philosophy, you will be guided in the tasting of the representative wines of the company and extra virgin olive oil combined with local products.
Duration of the tour + tasting 6 hours starting from the company center. Reservation is required 7 days in advance. The tour is active for a minimum of 6 people.

Third day
Check out but... not without having first proposed the continuation of the Tour in other enchanted villages of Molise, where parties and re-enactments will mark your next destination.
the package can also be combined with longer stays and with visits to other local companies and recreational/ recreational and cultural activities, proposed according to seasonality and suitable for families, groups of all ages and conditions.
