After being picked up from your hotel you will head for Rifugio Sapienza, enjoying some view points on the way up. The guide will give you all the information you need about the history and the territory of the volcano and you will visit the sites of the last eruptions and the old Silvestri Craters.

From Rifugio Sapienza (1920 m asl) you can choose one of the following options:

• Do some trekking in one of the natural paths of “Parco dell’Etna”, up to 2000 m.
• Acquire the Etna high altitude option, this alternative gives you the chance to enjoy the cable car and 4x4 service offered by "Funivia dell'Etna".

The excursion will continue with a visit of a lava cave with the proper equipment

The last stop before returning to the hotel, will be an organic farm for a delicious sampling of typical products such as honey, wine, oil etc.
