Itinerary made to know aspects of nature, culture and history of Marsica and its people. Three days to discover the places, history and flavours of this land. Fucino is a territory with different souls, in which history, traditions and innovation coexist and intertwine closely around the presence of a lake. The lake no longer exists but still today marks the territory with its shape and archaeological and contemporary presences that tell the past and indicate the future.

AIMED AT: campers and nature lovers.

Day 1

17:00 Arrival in the early afternoon at Camping Lo Schioppo. Presentation of the territory and activities.

20:00 Dinner at the participating structures.

Day 2

10:00 Departure with shuttle service to the Caves of Beatrice Cenci.

11:00 Guided tour of the caves.

13:00 Lunch at a restaurant in Tagliacozzo.

15:00 Guided tour of the old town centre: Piazza dell’Obelisco, Cloister of San Francesco, Teatro Talia and Palazzo Ducale.

18:00 Return to the campsite.

20:00 Free dinner.

Day 3

10:00 Visit to the Riserva di Zompo lo Schioppo. Water trekking and walking on the Nature Trail.

13:30 Lunch at the Schioppo refuge.

16:00 Farewells and departure.
