Day 1 Welcome in Molise

Arrival in Rome/Naples Airport

Transfer by bus

12:00 Arrival at Campobasso, located in the heart of the region inhabited by the Samnites, whose name means “people of the mountains”, full of fortified villages and sanctuaries on the heights, built in the first millennium BC following their animal protector, an ox.

Check in Hotel **** in the centre of Campobasso

Guided visit to the Samnite Museum that houses most of the regional archaeological collection arranged in chronological and thematic sections.. A journey which dates back to the end of the Bronze Age in the Sannio before, during and after the Samnites through the exhibits in the window: ambers, ceramics, bronzes, ivories, marbles and millenary funerary contexts.

Guided visit to Museum of Misteri dedicated to the main folk festivals of Campobasso :the Parade which fills the city streets during the Corpus Christi Day with wood machines that hold children, representin angels and devils, at the top of the structures at an height of 4-5meters .

Walk through the historical centre of Campobasso and its churches and castles.

19:00 Dinner at a local traditional restaurant.

21:00 Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 2Alto Molise

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the village of Agnone, a small Italian town of 5,200 inhabitants in the province of Isernia . Guided visit to a foundry that “has a tradition of foundries that dates back 10 centuries” and produces and restores bells and bronze portalsbas-reliefs, church artifacts.

Experiential tourism activities with lunch based on several cheeses, vegetables and wine tasting .

In the afternoon, transfer to natural protected area MAB Montedimezzo formerly a hunting reserve of the Bourbons, between the altitudes of 900 and 1300 meters, It has been included since 1977 in the program on man and the biosphere, an intergovernmental scientific program initiated by UNESCO, to promote a balanced relationship between man and the environment through the protection of biodiversity and good practices of sustainable development

Free time – back to Campobasso center for shopping.

Dinner km 0 at a farm in Cercemaggiore municipality.

Overnight at Hotel.

Day 3 Seaside Molise

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Termoli , located along the Adriatic coast. The only port in Molise, it is a fishing, tourist and industrial center. The medieval village is closed within the walls that separate it from the modern city.

Guided tour of the historic center: Cathedral Santa Maria della Purificazione and Termoli Underground, old village and fish tasting at the ‘trabucchi, ancient fishing machines typical of the Gargano, Molise and Abruzzo coasts, protected as a monumental heritage along the lower Adriatic.

Lunch at a sea fish restaurant on the coast.

In the afternoon visit at the MACTE Museum of Contemporary Art in the restructuring of the structure of the old local market :the square is a space that hosts temporary exhibitions and conferences, while the works of the Termoli Prize Collection are exhibited in the seven exhibition rooms.

Transfer back to Campobasso.

Overnight and dinner at the Hotel.

Day 7Basso Molis Check out

Transfer to Larino . Guided tour of the remarkable historical testimonies of past eras, especially of the Roman age, with archaeological sites of considerable interest such as the amphitheater, the baths, the forum and mosaics, from the Middle Ages such as the Romanesque-Gothic cathedral dedicated to the patron saint San Pardo.

Lunch with local wine tasting activities at the local Cellars.

Transfer to Naples/Rome.
