1st DAY

2:30 p.m. - REVERE

We are waiting for you within 2:30 p.m. You can reach us by car, but also by train or plane if you are coming from far away! Call us to arrange your transfer and don't worry! The transfers of the following days are already included in the tour package.

3:00 p.m. - DUCAL PALACE

The meeting place is in front of the Ducal Palace of Revere, from where we will make a walk. Get ready to look at these places with different eyes, the ones of those who have inhabited our lands since prehistory and the ones that will take you back in time thanks to the experience of Augmented Reality. Perhaps you have heard of Bacchelli's novel “Il Mulino del Po” or you have seen the re-run of a TV adaptation from the 60s, we will take you to the discovery of a real water mill of the Po River! Fully functional, the mill continues the tradition of an ancient craft and it still produces small quantities of flour from organic farming.

5:00 p.m. - MUSEUM OF THE PO RIVER

We continue our walk through the town of Revere, returning to the Ducal Palace. The rooms of this wonderful Gonzaga palace contain the Po Museum; by visiting them you will discover the evolution of this country, in an exhibition of archeological finds and vestiges that will take you from prehistory to the twentieth century.

7:30 a.m. - DINNER

The palate also plays its part! There are many gastronomic excellences able to satisfy him and you can taste some of them in the typical menu of our dinner. We are in the lands of the Truffle Road and the lovers of this precious tuber have the opportunity to taste it (menu with extra charge).

10:30 p.m. - OVERNIGHT STAY

Transfer to the hotel or the B&B you have chosen for a well-deserved rest!

2nd DAY

10:00 a.m. - FORCELLO

After breakfast, we will pick you up at the hotel to take you into the Etruscan world. The meeting point is at 10:00 a.m. at the archaeological site of "Forcello" in Bagnolo San Vito which we will reach by private bus. The Augmented Reality installations, the performances of our actors, the interactive workshops about crafts and cuisine of the time, will make you relive "the protohistoric age"! A unique and exciting experience, which will end with a frugal lunch after the manner of the Etruscans!

2:00 p.m - S. BENEDETTO

On board the bus the story of our guide will take you on the other side of the river, crossing the Roman era to get to the medieval one, the one that you will experience when you arrive in San Benedetto Po, in the monastic complex of Polirone.

3:00 p.m. - POLIRONE

Stories of counts and the Grand Countess Matilde, of monks and the Benedictine rule, of artists and works that have made the Monastic Citadel unique, but also the story of a community that lives on the river bank and depends on it. Our guide and our actors will accompany you along this journey, while your children can experience the art of mosaics, inspired by those of the floor of the church of Santa Maria.

5:00 p.m. - QUISTElLO

It is time for a bike ride to meet the Oltrepo countryside. A little more than half an hour of a bicycle ride and we will have arrived at the wine growers’cooperative in Quistello. (If you don't feel like cycling, a shuttle service is available). Lambrusco Mantovano, the history and anecdotes of the “Grappello Ruberti”, will be the protagonists of our dinner with typical dishes.

10:30 p.m. - OVERNIGHT STAY

Transfer to the hotel or the B&B you have chosen for a well-deserved rest!

3rd DAY

8:00 a.m. - S. BENEDETTO

After breakfast, we will pick you up at the hotel. The meeting place is at 8.00 a.m. in Piazza Matilde di Canossa in San Benedetto Po, from where we will leave by bike for an awakening immersed in the countryside, river banks and tales of land and river. The route is easy, suitable for everyone, but if you don't feel like cycling, a shuttle service is available.

9:00 a.m. - QUINGENTOLE

First stop to visit the Bishop's Palace of Quingentole, returned to the community in its magnificence thanks to an able restoration.

10:30 a.m. - PIEVE DI CORIANO

Our bicycle ride keeps going along the bank of the Po River, until it reaches Pieve di Coriano after a few kilometers. We visit the splendid church and then we relax in the Paleotta Park. Our actors will take you into the magical world of bees and honey, which has already been very important for our territory since ancient times. Honey and other typical products are the protagonists of our lunch / picnic at the bike grill.

12:00 p.m. - BY SHIP

If the Great River lets itself be navigated, we reach Felonica from the water, aboard a comfortable motorship. We leave from the mooring of Pieve di Coriano at 12:30 p.m., following the current we will take about two hours to arrive, cheered up by the performance of our actors, enjoying the lunch basket with typical products and honey tasting.

1:00 p.m. - BY BIKE

If you are a little trained and staying in the saddle for another 30 km does not bother you, you can reach Felonica by bicycle following the bank of the Po River. See you there for a visit to the Second Wordl War Museum.

2:00 p.m.

On board the reserved bus, we reach Felonica, we visit its wonderful little church and we end our ArcheTIPO experience with the contemporary era. With the discretion and the respect for those who lived through those dark times, at the Museum of the Second World War, you will hear the tales of war strategies, objects and idioms that are now habitual but which derive from them. The performance of our actors will make you relive a unique experience! As well as the one that your children will be able to experience, becoming little engineers struggling with the construction of Spitfire!

6:00 p.m. - RETURN

We will take you by bus to the point you left from in the morning and we organize your transfer to the station / airport according to your return needs.

It's time to say goodbye, to continue digging and always discovering new things!
