Il Museo, istituito nel 1994, conserva materiali relativi ai ritrova- menti effettuati sul territorio del Comune di Cingoli:
a) reperti del paleolitico inferiore, medio e superiore, industrie ne- olitiche ed eneolitiche ed una interessante campionatura dell’età del bronzo particolarmente rappresentata nel territorio;
b) una sezione dedicata all’età del ferro con esposizione di una ricca campionatura di reperti, fra i quali assumono particolare ri- lievo quelli provenienti dall’insediamento e dall’area santuariale di S. Vittore di Cingoli;
c) interessante quindi la sezione romana.
The museum, established in 1994, houses remains uncovered in the local area: a) relics of the Lower, Middle and Upper Paleolithic Period, as well as Ne- olithic and Eneolithic artefacts and an interesting sample of Bronze Age items typical of the area; b) a section dedicated to the Iron Age, with a display of a rich sample of relics, with particularly important items concerning the settlements and the Sanctuary area of St. Vittore of Cingoli; c) a remarkably interesting
Roman section.
