Introducing ANBBA
The Ministry of Productive Activities recognized ANBBA in 2004 as a Qualified Tourist Entity and the most representative in Italy of the non-hotel sector, the oldest in the sector, already part of Confturismo - as a constituent and adherent organization.
ANBBA is the representative body of the category for operators in the family hospitality sector in Italy and operates, on a non-profit basis, at the service of its members and the public. Management members and sector associations are part of ANBBA.
ANBBA carries out the following activities for members on a daily basis:
• Representation of the category of Bed & Breakfasts and Guest houses. This activity is aimed at Public and Private Bodies and Institutions in general in support of regional and national legislation and in defense of the rights of the member.
• Marketing and promotion activities for the affiliated structures.
• Information to the public and to the Shareholders through a specific website and social channels.
• General and fiscal-legal consultancy services for members.
Three Divisions have also been established within ANBBA:
ANBBA Training, to provide advice and training to members, public bodies and the general public, through seminars, webinars, courses and home consultancy. ANBBA has been developing and designing training courses and seminars of various lengths since 2001 for the opening of Bed & Breakfast, Guest House and Holiday Homes, on behalf of public and private entities.
ANBBA Promotion, to take care of the activities of promotion, marketing, participation in Fairs and bookings of members, carrying out activities such as: a special Marketing Office manages the promotion and advertising of the affiliated Bed & Breakfast and Guest House accommodation facilities. The promotion is carried out by publishing the structures on the web platform, www.anbba.it and visibility of the affiliated structures on various other partner sites. Other activities concern participation in Fairs and Events in which ANBBA participates annually, through Co-marketing activities.
