Two days/one night
First Day
Arrival in Matera and walk through the Rioni Sassi with a stop at the MOOM Oil Museum where you can visit a real oil mill composed of different rooms, each dedicated to a particular phase of the oil processing. We will visit the room where they were made to rest the donkeys, motive energy for the large millstone located in the central hall, the symbol of the mill. A large tank allowed the breaking of the olives thanks to the weight of the three large stone wheels. After obtaining the olive paste this was placed in fiscoli of different materials and then pressed thanks to the presses. After the visit stop for oil tasting with description of organoleptic characteristics and flavor notes.
Lunch stop 
In the afternoon move to the bakery IL FORNO DI GENNARO, for a baking workshop that includes a brief presentation of the company, active in the area for four generations and committed to the project that has made it possible for us to get to know each other.
four generations and engaged in the project that led to the recovery of the true bread of Matera, a product that requires long processing times, made with the best semolina of the territory and sourdough. The story continues by illustrating the ancient tradition of bread in Matera and describes the processing techniques and procedures that make this product unique and immediately recognizable. The participants will then assist to the making of the shape of the bread and will directly try to put their hands in the dough by making their own piece of bread and different shapes of cookies. At the end of the tasting that includes bread and oil, tarallini or pettoline, focaccia, sweets, water and a glass of wine or a soft drink of your choice.

Second day
Breakfast and transfer to visit the Masseria Riccardi, a historic dairy farm handed down from generation to generation which, by controlling the entire supply chain that feeds the cows of the "Italian Frisian" breed (fodder and grains of local production, milk, dairy products) guarantees products with zero centimeter quality. An experiential journey of about 2 hours that provides a multicolored journey depending on the seasons, in contact with nature and its fruits, life in the barn and artisan dairy production, enriched by the narration of experiences and knowledge of authentic rural life, handed down for generations.  The tour begins with a visit to the ancient Masseria of the '700, which also houses a small museum of rural civilization to continue walking among cows and calves, lovingly cared for, to learn the secrets of healthy breeding and check the entire production cycle until the milking and processing of high quality milk. At the end, tasting of dairy products and garden, accompanied by simple dishes of the peasant tradition and of course a good wine.
In the afternoon we will move to the Crypt of the Original Sin, one of the most fascinating rock churches in Southern Italy, also known as the "Sistine Chapel of rock painting". Originally a natural cave, used as a church in the ninth century, it amazes for the richness and archaic nature of the early medieval frescoes, created by the skilful hand of the "Painter of the Flowers of Matera". 
After this immersion in the mystical world of religious art, we move to Masseria Casal Dragone, the result of the work of five generations of winemakers who offer guests a rich selection of local products combining the flavors and the most sought after and characteristic products of the Lucanian territory with their own wine.
