The Touring Club Italiano, which has been promoting sustainable tourism development in small inland towns for 23 years through its Bandiere Arancioni (Orange Flags) programme and accompanying them on the path of continuous improvement, explores the actual prospects for revitalising small towns in inland areas, also in relation to rethinking their relationship with cities.
