Nautical tourism includes all tourist activities performed at sea and along the coast. Today it represents an important resource for the economy of our country.
In recent years we have been witnessing a growth in demand for experiential tourism, which is linked to new needs related to a desire to experience holidays to the fullest. This requires professionals in the sector to be able to pick up on the signs of change and address a market that is growing disorderly, with a proliferation of proposals for boats confused and mistaken for apartments, hotels and resorts, in a structured way.
Cooperating with Marinas and nautical businesses is fundamental for quality growth of nautical tourism in the future. In fact, in the same way that tourism cannot be developed without hotels, we believe that nautical tourism businesses cannot be developed without marinas since 'in a way, we can compare marinas to hotels (source: ICOMIA)'.
The conference will examine all the new opportunities for Marinas to become innovative hubs able to offer new solutions for experiential tourism thus contributing to the further growth of this important segment.
