In recent times, tourism has undergone a real revolution, helped by the overcoming of the critical time of the pandemic: when we were forced to stop travelling, tourist destinations, museums, cultural centres, turned to augmented reality to create new content. Augmented reality has become increasingly popular and this is because it allows all operators in the tourism chain to apply it, providing tourists with a wealth of information that is always available, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. What lies ahead and what are the possible applications and developments?
