The feeling that the area in which one lives is the neighbourhood, and that the neighbourhood is people, activities and initiatives. So neighbourhoods take on an important role, because it is in their midst that a unified narrative of the city is constructed, so that the city takes on the appearance of a novel in which each neighbourhood is a character and a chapter, a small centre among the many it sits alongside. In order to get to know our new cities, we need to start from here, from the neighbourhoods, the areas and the people who make them up, the true makers and players in urban life.
