Colors, flavors and smells of Madonita autumn

he second weekend of November is held the "Festival of Autumn Flavors" true excellence in the panorama of the Madonite autumn festivals. Organized for 8 years by the Isnello Youth Council, with the collaboration of the Isnello Proloco and the patronage of the Municipality of Isnello, it has registered over 7,000 admissions for each edition. The historic center of the village comes alive with desks for tasting various typical dishes such as "pasta and beans" with a secret recipe, roasted chestnuts and new wine. Along the streets there are local craft markets, typical foods of the Madonie and exhibitors from all over Sicily. A complete event which, for two days, offers moments of scientific study on proper nutrition, artistic and naturalistic itineraries, musical performances, animation and entertainment for young and old. In 2020, due to the covid-19 pandemic, in collaboration with See Isnello, to entertain the public from home, a particular "Social edition" was organized with exclusive content and the best of previous editions, broadcast on the social channels of the Consulta , of the Proloco, of the Municipality and of See Isnello.
